Take an historic building which has previously been a music shop and a vape shop with dingy walls, bright purple paint on the walls and trim, only one interior dividing wall bifurcating the total space and make it into a relaxing day spa and retail space.  This was a challenge and one that JLS Interiors was very happy to do as it was our first professional job. JLS Interiors provided total space design concepts, floorplan layout, sourced furniture, lighting, colors, finishes, accessories and provided continuous consult through the construction process.  JLS Interiors also designed the retail displays and had them fabricated from antique table parts sourced from a local non-profit thrift store.  Reimagined, reused and repurposed furniture and décor items is something JLS Interiors stives to incorporate into our designs when appropriate.  An environmentally sensitive design approach is something we strive to achieve in every design.  The result is a relaxing spa space providing nail, facial, and message services, as well as a rest and relaxation are by fireplace and no-pressure retail area.  A combination of antique lighting and new lighting coupled with sheer panel “walls” provides for a soft atmosphere.
