When JLS Interiors first visited this beautiful and very functional apartment, it was a second story space of an historic home, which was stripped down to the basic framing studs. The client wanted to create an efficient living space that they could live in with their two dogs while they built their dream farm house on property nearby. The clients had a great sense of style already and needed JLS Interiors help with space layout, function and guidance on how to marry the couple’s differing ideas on finishes. The result is a space that functions beautifully, has some unique finishes that you would think are high-price, but are actually budget friendly, big box store options and reflects the clients comfortable and classic styles. This one-bedroom apartment was also designed with long-term plans to serve as an Air B&B once the clients move into their forever home.
