This gorgeous mid-century modern home had been damaged by two large oak trees during a storm.  The client took the opportunity to update her 1974 family kitchen and adjacent living room area into something more functional for a retiree, while creating bright and inviting spaces that flow easily.  These spaces are not large but their design, through color, furniture, lighting, fabric textures, and visual field of view, creates the feeling of one large open space.
