“Would you help me create a pink, glam kitchen?” my client asked. And so, we did. However, this was not a normal kitchen renovation. This kitchen renovation was occurring in a townhouse, and on a modest budget. Since the existing color palette in the house was a strong terracotta color, creating a pink glam kitchen alone would have created disharmony between the spaces. So, the kitchen reno turned into a main floor reno, while keeping to the same budget! The key was an enormous amount of client sweat equity, and to look for, and source materials from unconventional locations, while investing the budget in new countertops, wall removal and minor construction, paint materials, and fun accessories. The client put in so much work to make her space just what she wanted, and we think it turned out great!
